Inclusive access
Accessibility statement
We want patients and visitors to be able to understand and use this website across a broad range of devices and access needs.
Our accessibility target
The website is designed toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. This describes our target and should not be read as a claim that an independent accessibility audit has certified every page.
Features built into the website
- semantic page landmarks and a logical heading structure;
- a skip link for moving directly to the main content;
- keyboard-operable links, menus, forms and disclosure controls;
- visible keyboard focus indicators and generous touch targets;
- labels, instructions and text-based form error messages;
- text alternatives for meaningful images;
- colour combinations selected for readable contrast;
- support for browser zoom and text enlargement;
- reduced motion when your device requests it;
- static alternatives for non-essential three-dimensional visuals.
Using the site in another way
Most text can be enlarged using browser controls. The website is intended to work with keyboard navigation and current assistive technologies. Device and browser combinations can behave differently, so we welcome reports of barriers.
If an online form is difficult to use, call +92 332 3420777 or email lmdc.dha@gmail.com to ask for the same information or service in another reasonable format.
Report an accessibility problem
Please email lmdc.dha@gmail.com with the page address, what you were trying to do, and the browser or assistive technology you used if you are comfortable sharing it. Do not include sensitive medical information. The clinic can then investigate the issue and provide an alternative where practical.
